New SHOWA 49 forks found on 2017 crf 450 and 2018 250 & 450, bolt directly to Beta triples as they are 54-59 (upper-lower) mm.
Haven't checked lugs offset and certainly they will require custom axle spacers but this is a good fork.

Recently I worked on one. Build quality may be a tad lower than older Showas and they come now with a plastic floating piston just like the KYBs.

Spoke to a gent last weekend who put on the Showas from a 15-16 Honda. I can't remember what he said about the lugs. He loved the set-up

He's refering to 49mm Showas all the pre 49mm i.e 47mm tc showas are very similar.

I was referring to previous 47 and 48 units (and a 49 semi factory but this was very tired example).
As I wrote, the new 49 comes with a KYB-like plastic floating piston which in the long run may need replacement.
Also the cartridge shaft aluminum colored coating doesn't look as hard as the older gold color ones.
I had another small problem when removing the 2nd cartridge from the fork. After unfastening the base (rebound) adjuster, I had a tool holding part of the cartridge outside of the fork in order to unfasten the adjuster itself from the cartridge.
When the cartridge nut came to the end of the shaft threads it was jumping and was not possible to create enough counter force to unfastened the adjuster.
At the end I had to compress the fork more to have more shaft protruding out of the axle lug and then hold it still with the aid of RT shaft jaws in a vise.
Turns out that the nut had pulled some of its threads on the upper, shaft side.
Obviously this may be an isolated example but have never happened before.

Measured my buddies 2012 CRF 250X Showas. The tube diameter is roughly 1mm larger at both clamping areas than the Sachs.
