I am going to replace the springs front and rear and change the fork fluid while im at it.
When I said "maxed out", I mean I have screwed the preload adjusters down the shock body, compressing the shock spring to the maximum allowable preload.
I agree, I do not want this much preload and am hoping for a noticeable improvement when I uprate the springs.
Steve, I suddenly find myself in the process of buying a house. After springs, I will just have to live with the results until summer.
Quite frankly, the bike is plenty fun as is. If it wasnt a brand new, top of the line product, I would be happy with what I have. But, price of admission being what it is, I feel compelled to take it the last few bucks to make it worth it. Otherwise I could have just bought a used KTM or Wr250.
