So just reading through this thread, I have a 2015 250 RR race & I've found a Boano 5.6K spring off a 2019 ZF shock and was hoping it will fit my older Sachs shock?

Even w/o the X trig, on the 2020 shock you still can't quite get the spring on and off w/o compressing it a bit, a couple of hose clamps work in a pinch.

The springs are the same as the older shocks, the bottom slotted retainer cap that keeps the spring on is a smidgen taller.

Great thanks for the info. The shock actually turned out to be off a 2018 model bike so was actually off the same sachs shock just listed wrong.
Cheers
