That's right. I'm looking at options if the 2015 Race edition still has the Zokes. My KYBs are good but a bit battered and one of the tubes seems to have a flat on it that's causing an oil leak. There's a Yam breaker near me who has some likely looking forks and a ready made solution for spacers etc will make the job much easier.

I'm going to be honest here and say this situation really pisses me off. I took a fair amount of time and designed these parts for myself, had them made and tested on my dime. Guy asks me for help so I share my work with the expectation that he will have a set made for himself. I'm fine with that, anyone who knows me from GGRC throughout the years knows that I was all about helping people. So the guy takes my drawings and pics to his machinist buddy, and now its a commercial venture. None of this was mentioned to me. A real dickhead move IMO, so don't ask me for info on parts made for $$ by someone else that are actually my intellectual property. This will be the last time I freely share information of this nature.

Wow. Was not aware of that. They won't be getting my business then unless they start paying you a royalty.

I asked if you would sell me a few sets and you said no, I'll send you a drawing just make them your self.

Your drawing had the seal surface to short and they didn't work on older forks, we already had a couple sets of all the different axles (there not all the same) and old and new yamaha wheels.

GMP makes it sound like he made a CAD drawing, it was a pencil sketch on a napkin, it's not rocket science and someone was bound to make some spacers and while it's set up you might as well bang out a few sets and keep the cost down, everyone here can go to a machinist and pay a $100 for one off spacers or you can buy them anyone willing to step up.

If your struggling with your KYB conversion I will gladly help just ask .

Doesn't matter what the drawing was, CAD or sketch, you knew and were eager enough to get it from me. Also work fine on MY FORKS which I stated, as does my Husky wheel spacers. No its not rocket science its actually simple, and if you had the respect to ask me what you wanted to do it might have been fine. Its not what it was but how it was handled. It would be like if I talked to your buddy and got a good deal on a revalve, then tore it down and sold valving kits cheap, same unethical practice.

What's the matter Jay, no comeback? That last sentence hit a nerve?

OK so this offset debate has been driving me batty. My shoulder was feeling good enough today to monkey around with it a bit.

I have 2013 KYB's off of a YZF450

Each time I have measured offset in comparison with the Sachs I am not getting any difference. Maybe 1mm but it is so difficult to measure consistently, who knows.

So I removed the right Sachs from my 300 and put in place the right side KYB. I put the YZ axle on with two of the YZ spacers so I could square up the forks to each other

So best I can tell offset is the same

Let me know if you see any issues with my method.
