I'm a tad lighter at around 162 or so. I found that I was getting excessive static sag numbers on the stock 5.2 spring on my 250RR and the rear felt pretty firm no matter what I did with the clickers. At 100mm race sag I was getting close to 45mm of static. I found a used 4.9 spring from a Yamaha YZ250 and used a Factory Connection collar adapter to fit it. Now, I get about 35mm static sag at 100mm of race, which is about right, and the bike feels much better, not exactly plush but better than it was for sure. It is possible, I'm told, that the stock Beta spring may not have actually tested at 5.2 rate, I don't know. According to Beta's sprig chart the 5.2 should have worked for my weight in riding gear, but it didn't. If you can get your hands on one, I'd suggest trying a 5.0 and see what sag settings it nets. Best of luck.
