Reset clicker after Sachs fork service

Postby samw5 » Fri Feb 10, 2023 12:01 pm

Quick "dumb" question.

Was servicing my forks and totally forgot to back out the top clicker out prior to splitting the legs.

Now I can't get the clicker to actually stop, it will keep going until it free spins.

I know there was something I had to do in the past to get this sorted, just can't remember what. I tried pulling the clicker plunger slightly out so that I engages the thread but still not luck.

Sachs 48mm open cartridge from a 2013 450rr.

Thanks.

Look at this vid from Stillwell (www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0hj84bZv8w&ab_ ... TravisFant) about halfway through the video he starts on the Sachs fork and if I remember correctly he addresses the indexing of the fork cap, it's been awhile since I have watched it all but it may help.
