Rebound/compression setting for Sachs fork

Postby Dyrtmon » Thu Jun 18, 2015 1:51 pm

After chasing my tail working with the settings on my Sachs fork as it would occasionally bottom (2013 300RR), I decided to do an oil change mainly to find out what the oil level was. Sure enough it was low, 160 mm from the top. I had the seals replaced and evidently the guy didn't fill it properly. Changed the oil and set it at 130mm from the top, 5w oil.

What would a good starting point be for the compression and rebound clickers?

I'll have to see if I can find any of my old notes for that bike. 16 out from full closed should get you close if my memory serves me right.

Between 15 and 20 Out. Oil Height works good around 110 to 120.
