Ok I guess I misunderstood. Still, the HD plastic used in spring guides will not wear like that, into a fine particulate suspended in the oil. Thats more indicative of worn anodizing. Separate the tubes, clean the ID of the uppers of all oil with a solvent and dry, so there is no optical distortion. Have a good look with a light, you will know either way fast enough. Not familiar with the Sachs first hand, but I once had a set of 45mm Zokes with uncoated damper rods that used to foul the oil fast. Polish and T3 hardcoat solved this.
