About to do some shopping, tell me your opinion

Tm designs....worth the money? If so red or black?

Anyone run a 52 tooth? Make a difference, i rarely ever see 5th, only 6th a couple times.

Number of links on stock chain, and will you go up links for the 52?

250 rr - I have run a 52. Makes 3 real good and closes the gap to 4th. Can use either gear in many situations. 1st becomes worthless and 2nd is like a 1st in a moto bike. Worthy of a try. I currently am running a 51 which is a little better for where I ride. I'll put the 52 back on for Colorado at 10k + elevation

BRP chain guide is good, more room, and you can replace the lower block separately. For gearing a 51 on a 300 is great for anything tight, technical, and or hilly, and first is a stall proof bail out. Add a link to the chain length to keep it out of the guide and the tire out of the mudflap.

I use the TM design chain guide, it also has a replaceable wear block. Also 51t is the way to go.
