Mounted it up today. Seems a bit narrow for a 110 tire. Also no stiffer in the sidewall than the BStone x30 I mounted last week for the 24hr. Knobs are gooey after a few min in the sun. I think this is gonna be good.

Well, got a few hours in today on the tire. Very rocky, some short dry dirt sections between the rocks, lots of logs of all sizes and angles too. A few short steep technical climbs. I set the pressure for 4 PSI cold, checked at 6 PSI warm on return. First, on Slaven's recommendation I got the 110. It is small for a 110 tire, much smaller than the 110 size AT81 and X30 I have, and looks narrow on the bike. In fact most narrow tire I can remember using, looks more suited to my son's 125. Riding it, it does fine on rock and rock climbs. It's very dry here now, and on loose surface hard pack it's just OK but tends to spin up easier than expected, seems a bit small for the power of the bike. Braking is OK. Cornering is very unpredictable, especially if a hard brake pivot is needed as it is often here as you can't lean in many spots. Looking at the asymmetrical side knobs Imwonder if that's why. No way would I race with this tire. Can't comment on mud. Next time I may try 3PSI cold to see if general traction improves, but I tend to think the 120 size would be a lot better for my application. In about 35 miles of rock the edges are rounding and at the rate I'm going I'm right on celler's track, much of this I think is from excessive spin. So, it's very much like a TT in that you have to be more careful with the throttle, and the turning. I'd like to try a 120 as its probably more in line with what I normally run. Right now, the MT16 still has it beat, while it lasts.

Yes the 907 is a trail tire only. No racing. Too unpredictable on fast cornering.

I'm going to run it in an enduro Sunday. Real rocky, tough, and its been dry. Trials tires are usually the ticket so it should be OK. Have you tried the 120 size?

I have not. I have gone back to the AT81 RC Desert. It seems to be the best fit for me at the moment. I run 0 PSI on single track and 2 PSI in the Desert (with Tubills of course).

Rode with the Sedona today in a south PA Enduro. Club really changed things up from what the run used to be like, a lot more faster, nice mountain trail. Plus it rained Sat pretty good. Not what I was expecting. Tire was a little scary in the first section that was fairly greasy, braking sub par. Better in the next section that saw more sun and tacked up quick. Good on the drier hills littered with rock as well. The A only section was a blast from the past with very big rocks, all angles, some of it slick. Like a three mile rubble pile. Tire worked the best here, where it could grab rock. Some fast gravel road connectors demanded attention as it would step out easily. So, not a tire for all conditions, especially wet. Drier, rocky trail is where it works best. Looks pretty good for 100 miles of abuse.

Followed a guy with a Kenda Equlibrium for a little while. Looked like it worked well, worth trying next.

I'm still running this tire in the rocks and its much better at 3-3.5 PSI than at 4+ PSI. Does everything reasonably well on nasty single track. Good enough that I'd try the 120 size. Also it gets a great seal with the Tubliss as the inside carcass is smooth, even after sitting for over a week its at the same pressure.

I don't race, my riding style is to hook up - and I will say that my 907 hooks up @5 psi as good as my MT43 trials tire does at 7 psi. The advantage the Sedona has over the trials tire is that it will be easier to climb a hill with deep scree or loose deep dirt, and going down the same hills will not be an E ticket ride. Hooks up well in mud as well.
