I just had a quick look in the American Beta news page.

I know it's not the 2T but these give an idea:

2020 200RR.
2014 300RR. Gone but not forgotten.

That is a whole different tank. If you look closely the radiator shrouds are part of the gas tank. I've been looking at one of those for my KTM 500 EXC. I haven't seen a tank like that listed for a 300RR. The first picture at the top does show it on a 2-stroke however.

Cody Webb used one of the earlier big 4T tanks on his 2013 300RR when he won King of Motos. There is a fair bit of fab required to make it fit (welding mounting tabs to the frame etc) and I think older style side panels.

I don't have a way to get U pics of my '14 300rr with the Ims tank. Maybe Beta Steve does? I believe he installed one on his '13 300rr.

Just the rear mounting tab for the tank, front its the same... and the pre 2013 shrouds, nothing else.

If you're riding enduros you need to be able to get 65-70 miles out of a tank. If it's not happening, even with the stock tank, I'd say you have a problem. If something is leaking, including the float bowl over flowing you should see a good amount of wetness wherever it's draining/dripping to.

There are three ways to get 70 miles out of a stock tank.

1) Fill it twice
2) Get towed behind a truck for 30 miles or so
3) Start at the top of a really tall mountain :D

The bikes are jetted reasonably crisply, and tend to get 17-20 mpg at flatland elevations (sea level to 2000 ft or so).

Those 300's must be pretty thirsty. I don't think the KTM burns that much fuel.

Did the broxton bridge dual sport down in South Carolina this past weekend. Happy to report I got much better fuel mileage, I got 51.6 miles on the last tank of the day on Saturday. Didn't even go to reserve but was close. Man that 300rr is a serious tight single track weapon! Absolutely love it.
