My front brake has a crunchy feeling to it when squeezed. Good thing is you don't have to squeeze it very hard to get it to engage. Usually a touch of the finger. The problem seems to be the front brake never returns and stays a 3rd of the way engaged. I checked the fluid, and it's fine. Could the problem be the master cylinder.

I believe it was posted a year or more ago to put a little lube on the contact surface between the lever and the piston actuator.

Put some light lithium grease seems to have helped.
