2017 430 RR-S kickstart

Greetings, This is my first beta and the last kick start I owned was a 1976 Suzuki 100. My question; is it normal for the kicker to hit the foot peg? See pic if it loaded. I adjusted it as far forward as it could go but it still hits? Maybe it's normal. Thanks

I don’t remember as far as the 430 but my 525 Beta kick start hits the peg. I guess my 350 rr does? I use estart most of the time anyway.

Hawaii dr thanks for the reply, Then I guess that's just the way it is, Hopefully it's not needed but nice insurance out on the trail.
