Oil leaking from Kickstarted shaft

Hi all,

I can imagine that it is normal for a seal to wear out, but it is the first time that it happened to me that my bike leaked oil from the kick starter shaft. Did it ever happened to any one here? I did a technical pass/climb and as I reached the top I noted the oil. The seal around the shaft came out. I pushed it back in, but it kept on sweating through.
