running a CRF sprocket on my 2014 300. Fits fine. Bolts a little snug but nothing drastic.

I bet your holes aren't round anymore.

All the bolts drop in but one. Then you have to force it a little.

Why?

I have 200 hours on Honda sprockets with no issue.

It may fit and it may be enough but I wouldn't call it good.

I would question why do it? Sprockets are available. Granted .5mm ain't much but the holes in the hub is going to be what takes up the difference.

I happened to have a 50T honda sprocket laying around and wanted to try it out on a new wheel I recently picked up. Had the same issue as in the previous picture except 2 bolts would fall unless forced. Measuring puts it about .3mm wider on the sprocket than the hub. Damn that's so close you have to wonder why the hell go out of your way to make them different. Nothing I couldn't touch up with a jewelers file on the diameter and a little on the bevel to remove any stress on the hub.

The Beta version sprocket seems to be more expensive (supersprox ) than others probably due to Beta is still new in the market. I'd have no worries using a Honda sprocket after a little touchup. Wouldn't force any mounting bolts though as you might be asking for trouble. Hubs are expensive. Soon enough we'll be able to buy all brands of sprocket for Beta. The bikes are as good as anything out there (as long as the Italian govt. doesn't get it's stinking fingers in the factory).
