I have nearly 1000 miles on my 907 (110/100) and it is by far the best wearing rear tire I've used. Running 5 psi w/Tubeliss, it hooks up as good as my MT43, and performs better than the trials tire in the loose stuff and (of course) snow. I've ridden in all trail conditions including some dual sport events, no chunking at all. I'd like to get another one, but for some reason the 110/100 are not available at the moment.

None were available anywhere a few days ago. Slavens has Aug. 1st ETA now. So you like the 110, Slavens had that size recommended for a 250/300. Lots of other guys said the tire is not wide and a 120 is better. Have a pic of the 110 mounted ?

I have the 120 mounted on my KTM 300, when I get my Beta put back together (Wed or Thurs) I'll put them side by side and take/share a few pics.

Beta with the 110/100 forground, KTM with the 120/90 in the back.

This tire has over 900 miles on it, ridden in every condition imaginable.

By comparison, 60 miles on the 120/90

Thanks for posting that. I think I'm going to get a 120 when they are available. For what I want it for the bigger footprint makes sense.

I've used 2 of these and both look like this after 250 miles. Still think it is a good tire but as you can see my wear is really different than what others experience. This is in desert single track. My experience says the Missouri rocks wear a tire a little faster than the desert so I do not think the desert conditions are extreme.
Edit
Since I'm new to the area I'm riding in I though it would be good to do a comparison to a tire that proved to be durable in the past. Top picture is the Pirelli MX Extra As you can see the Sedona held up better.

After burning up 3 tires I decided to put a used M16 on to see how that worked in this terrain. Last time I used one I was new to the area and was not familiar with how loose the soil is. The M16 worked really well. I can say for sure that the 907 and the M16 use 2 different approaches to solving the traction challenge. 907 uses soft knobs and a stiff sidewall. M16 has a flexible side wall more like a trials tire with more ridged nobs. The M16 definitely worked better in the loose rocks. I need to get more time on it to see if the knob chunking is manageable. If so the M16 will be my tire of choice. I also just bought a Bridgestone x40. Really light (12.3 lbs) and beefy knobs. Sidewall is soft like a M16!

MT16 has been the tire of choice for me and many others in the northeast for a long time. I try stuff but the Pirelli is always the go to tire. The cords delaminate from the interior sidewall but by that time the tread is mostly shot and the tire still holds air running Tubliss. I find they do not chunk, when I toss them it's because of knob height and sidewall cord separation. Old school tire that still works. The IRC VE33 is supposed to be very close to the MT16, may try that next as Sedona 907 is still not available.

GMP, I assume you've put a few miles on that Sedona.....Verdict?

I rode with two guys that recently put them on their Husa TE300s (Tubliss@ 5psi), conditions ranged from rock faces to deep dust and they really like the tire.

Not yet, was in CA on vacation for 10 days and then prepping for and racing the NE 24hr Challenge. The 24hr was not a good application for the Sedona, mostly softer, fast, with only a few short small rocky sections. Bike needs a good service now including forks so I'll mount it up and try it next weekend. From what I saw hiking around in CA, and what I remember from Cabo, those rocks are very course and abrasive, and dry, excellent traction I would think. Not saying they are all like that, just what I saw in the areas I was in. Here they are less gritty, muddy, sometimes green with moss in the shade of the canopy, and everywhere. We'll see how it goes, I will report back.
