Gaerne's Fastback Endurance boot offers great value for around $333 USD. I wore a pair of these all last season and loved them.

In December Gaerne just announced a new version called the "Fastback End. Enduro" that has a sole with more traction. It's offered in USA sizes, but I haven't seen it listed on any of the typical USA online stores yet.

Alot of companies run different sizes. I have a wide foot and love my Gaerne's (SG-12's). The Sidi's I had the year before were way too narrow... Keep that in mind. There are a lot of good YouTube videos out there for reviews too.

You should also check out Forma boots. I got a set of Predators for each of my sons and they are very good. Decent quality like the Gaerne SG-12's but not quite as pricey. https://www.formabootsusa.com/

I love my Gaerne's. However, call Atomic Moto out of Bend, OR. They won't just take your order, they will earn it. My first pair of Gaerne's the owner interviewed me for a 1/2 an hour before he told me which boot he thought would be best. My style, age, size, and what kind of riding. I've talked with them since numerous times. Each time, as far as the individual is concerned, you're his only customer. I've found their advise spot on. My next pair will be coming from them. My 2 cents or maybe 4 cents.

Both of these boots are currently priced almost identically at $477 in the USA, which is quite a bit above the stated budget.

If you are not looking for Motorcross levels of protection, a set of Alpine Star Adventure Boots might do the trick.

The boot selection right now is pretty weak at pueblo and colorado springs motorcycle shops.

i bought the low line alpine star tech 3 (non enduro sole). good fit, comfortable and i really like the 3 buckle system rather than 4 buckles.
almost went for the alpine star corozal, that is a nice boot! no gaerne fastbacks at all.
so, hopefully the tech 3's will last a couple of seasons and more boots will be avail. by that time (with the 3 buckle system).
