Oil injection reservoir cap

Oil injection reservoir cap

Postby sjtindall » Tue May 25, 2021 9:11 am

I just got a 2020 300 RR. It has oil injection, which I had on my 2016 300. The 2020 has a very small pin hole in the center of the cap and oil seems to be leaking out of it? Does anybody know if the hole is supposed to be there, and if so should there be anything on the underside of the cap? Looked at the cap on my 2016 and there is no hole, and it has a rubber diaphragm of some sort on the underside of the cap.

Thanks for any help.

My 21 has that hole, dribbles a little if I fill the bottle too full or If the bike spends time on it's side.

Cool, thanks for the reply.

I just won't fill is so full, on my 2016 I was in the habit of filling it to the top.
