I thought U.K. had routine bike inspections? Is that just for emissions & sound compliance? I used to buy Bike magazine every so often & they were always complaining about passing inspections making it hard to mod bikes.

No inspection until 3 years old then once a year. Easy enough to pass as long as your bike is in good safe condition.

Ah, the infamous UK Daylight MOT.

Ride your race bike on the road legally.
Loose...

I'm well aware of my state's obvious desire to control our every move. Why would you want honest tax paying civilians to enjoy their time on earth...
So my question about the 390 is that I hear it's super smooth, but does it have more of a torque feel to it then that of the bigger 430 which sounds like a free revving engine?
Nice ride regardless.

Break in ride complete, 170 miles of single and two track. I still haven't had a chance to get on it but from the ride this weekend I think it will be a great bike for me. The power is electric smooth, it pulls strong but never hits hard.

170 mile break-in ride? I'd say say so! Lol
Mine usually last 90 mins in my yard, they it's ready for full service.
Happy you enjoyed it. Now in the next 170 miles you have to promise to let her rip...

Well to be honest it was 60 miles the first day then full oil change and clean and 110 the second day.
