Anyone re-valved the 2022 forks and/or shock?

I have a 2020 model 300 RR and when I replace the springs to match my weight and (I’m 6’1” 215lb) it made the front end feel like motocross Suspension. I’ve had KTM’s in the past and when I would respring those they were fine but when I put the proper springs in the Sachs suspension it was absolutely terrible. I sent them to Arron at AMP and he fix them.

Hello,
I am about the same weight as you. I am wondering where you set your fork compression and rebound from fully closed( clockwise) How many clicks back are you on compression and rebound? I know at 215-225 I will probably need new springs as well but after reading your post I might just tighten down compression and go from there until these need servicing. I am riding the new 2022 430 RRS. I have a suspension guy that will do a pro build for 1400-1600 if the Sachs dont need to be hardened again. Well just thought I would ask for some help.
Thanks
Broc

If you can swing it, just drop in the Lucky inserts and ask Aaron about the 22' shock, the shocks on bikes prior to 22' could be upgraded to work amazing compared to stock.

I have a set of Sachs o/c with Lucky gen 1's and a set or 21' Beta KYB's both setup by Aaron, both work well, but I prefer the Lucky's and I have been on KYB's since 2014.

On the Sachs open chambers, you can easily dump out the stock innards, drop in the Lucky inserts, bleed for an hour and you'll be grinning like the village idiot once there dialed in.

When you sell it, just reverse and you saved $1000.

agree on the Lucky inserts, they transformed my '13 and '19, night and day difference, love 'em! ... speaking of, i will have a set of Lucky inserts set up by Warren at EnduroSpec up for sale next month, i'm moving to the new KYB for this season.

Will be interesting to hear your comparison. Riding the NE terrain would favor the Lucky's.
