I have a crew going out Sept 29th-3rd, rented a big house in Monticello UT, going to hit a few different areas, and most of the crew is planning a 5MOH day, were going to ride it both ways in a day.

Wow ive just watched a couple of you tube vids on 5moh and it looks extremely hard! I like the way someone has painted on the rock, as if it would somehow help you lol.....The only problem with that is if you come to a section and the white marks disappear hahahahaha

The paint is to mark the trail route. There is a lot of that in out slick rock country. Easier than trying to plant a post in the rock!

Trials tire like a M43 works well.

A group of us from southern Oregon will be riding the Moab area 24-28 April. Hopefully, the weather will be perfect about that time.

The Shinko 505 Cheater tire works well and may be a little better in the sand
