So you guys really think its cool to let the piston go that long? I've never gone that long but the bike is tight, quiet, and doesn't get reved like a 250 as often so I might just let it ride.

The only thing I would worry about is if you get piston slap. The thing I see the most on high hour bikes is broken skirts. If the piston is not rocking around in the hole what could possibly go wrong. Lol
As a rule I'm a 100 hour piston guy on a enduro bike but I thought I would try two seasons on a piston this time around and I see no problems doing so. I generally get 100 hours a summer. I'm only down about 8psi from new.

She really is not that far behind that's true but she is still out from a brain injury from Nevada this April.

Yeah I agree 100%, always did a Vertex at 100 hrs/1 season tops in GGs. They are cast though and more prone to skirt failure from excessive clearance.

10 years on GasGas, time to move away from that and I'm glad I did.

I absolutely love my Beta! I'm a recent convert after completely wearing out a 2011 GasGas 250 (approx. 500 hours). Before getting my '14 250RR, that Gasser was my favorite woods bike ever. I also purchased a 2012 GasGas 300. I hated it! Lots of quality issues, poor workmanship, and the bike never ran right. I finally figured out the carb was boogered up from the factory. I told the distributor the bike was a steaming turd. We didn't speak after that. Sold that mistake half way through the season and was never so happy to see a motorcycle go away.
This Beta is the best woods bike I've ever ridden!

I've been on KTMs since 2001. I will be getting my 1st Beta, a 350rr, hopefully in a week or 2. I did the BYOB program through my brothers dealership C & D motorsports in Robinson IL.
