Just made my first BYOB

Postby Wallybean » Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:14 pm

Just placed my Byob order for a 2020 250RR. Can't wait to pick it up in a couple of months. Still winter here in Montana so timing will be good. Any thoughts on must do extra set-up?

I went bloody well all in on this buy. Only thing old age brings is disposable income, not talent.

hey, Walt! cool to see you over here, Clinton/typeone from the Cafe :D congrats on the 250! i had a '13 250 for the past 6 years and loved it to death, awesome motor ... missed my WR165 so much that i just upgraded to the 200RR ... thanks for all your help back in the day. that 165 was absolutely perfect for New England singletrack!

Thanks Clinton! I am finally going back to a bigger bore bike for the first time in 10 years. I always wanted to try out the BYOB program and just pulled the trigger. Can't wait as I have really liked everything I have seen and heard about the '20 beta's.

I still have my 177 stroker and it will probably always have a place in my shop.

Mtdirtbag, I typically always ride in my area or head to Idaho.

Hey Mr. Veiney!

I had to make at least one BYOB purchase before my number got punched. Had a blast making the order...2 pages worth.

I am good but reaching the end. Hope to retire soon. How is the family? Brant must be close to graduating or is he already off to his own life?

Hopefully I can make it down there at some point once I slow down my obsession with working every day.

Brant is at U of I in Moscow doing as well as any Freshman does ;) Deb and I are empty Nesters dreaming of retirement and I'm riding less than I want to... But I'm still above ground and getting fatter :)....

Would love to see you and Jon make it down or meet up with you guys somewhere. Mitch and I still get out from time to time... Hope all is well with yo u guys...

Hey Walt, good to see you here!

I'm sure you'll love the bike. I've been riding a 2105 300 RR since my days at the Cafe.
