A few more details -> This website is community owned and is not for profit. It exists for the benefit of the entire Beta Rider Community - this community includes riders, dealers and makers of beta accessories. There will be banner ads here - but that is more for the benefit of the dealers - to give them exposure here.

I don't own a beta myself - I created this website as a "place for Glenn to hang out" (& steve too!) Glenn was a long time moderator on the gasgas riders club forum, which I also manage. He is now the happy owner a brand new beta 300 race 2t. :)

Jeff,

Thanks for all the work you've put into this, it will be fun to watch it grow in members, posts and content.

I've been seeding a few things here and there to seed some of the categories. My goal is to try to stay at half the posts Glenn makes, that's a tall order. I may have to abandon that if I run out of intelligent comments, or even comments that remotely sound intelligent.

When I look at this forum it reminds me of the old days of the smackover "talking smack" gasgas forum. Less than 100 users total and 10 active at a given time. The content and value of the forum will build up over time. No rush. Don't make "work" out of it - Just enjoy it for yourself... It will build up in it's own good time. :)

That being said - I will set up google advertising for a few months - it will cost about $15-$20 per month but will put us at the top of the search listings on google.

Just got here, I have been a KTM guy for years but couldnt resist placing my order through Franks Motorbikes for a 14 BYOB 300rr. First brand new bike for me since 98. Thanks for putting up a Beta site. I think it will really catch on.
