High engine hours for Beta 4-Strokes

Postby warrent » Thu Jan 21, 2021 7:51 pm

I wondering what kind of engine hours we Beta owners are accumulating on our 4-strokes. I believe I had close to 300 on my first 2015 390. My 2017 390
has 278 hrs and I have just bought a 2021.
I believe with normal trail riding these engines should be good for 400 to 500 hrs before needing overhaul. Any opinions?

Hey Warren, I am at 420 on my 2016 350rr, with no problems. All single track , still starts easily, no smoke or no oil usage. I change oil every 8 hours , amsoil synthetic.

Hi Warren, that is a good question and it would be really interesting to hear from a bunch of long term owners. I personally owned a 2016 for 5 years, 260 hours, 9700KM and no issues, motor was was as strong as the day I bought it. I recently sold it and purchased a 2021. I am hoping my new Beta will be as good as my old one.
