Starter for Beta 200rr

I have had two starter failures for my Beta 200rr and have decided to seek out a lower cost replacement. I found a starter on Aliexpress

for $67.00 which is for the larger 250/300 bikes. I bought one and simply used a cutting wheel on my 4 1/2" angle grinder to trim 1/4" off the end of the starter gear shaft and it worked perfectly. This is much cheaper than the $311.00 cost for a new starter through Beta. I cannot speak on the longevity but will update this post if there are any issues. I hope this can help others.
