2014 Beta 350 Factory *SOLD*

If you haven't been convinced that Beta is for real based on their exemplary two strokes, then maybe this bike will finally change your mind. Armed with a new, ground-up motor design, Marzocchi PFP 'Reds', and more high-quality touches than you can shake a stick at, the 350 Factory edition is an incredible motorcycle.

Call to see how you can get yours -done the way you like it - today.

Did you put the in-line fuel filter or is it stock? It is a filter, right?
Starter motor also looks differently from the past model.

Most importantly, have you ridden it? Do you notice any improvements?

The fuel filter is something I add to every bike I prep. Starter is different from past units, but then again so are the cases, crank, piston, oil pump drive, etc.

The current 350 is the only bike in the line-up I haven't ridden. The plan is to ride the 350 Factory next Friday with it's (prospective) new owner, and compare it to a well-sorted 250RR.

Nice bike Steve! I'm just not a 4stroke guy. Maybe when I get old.

I'm intrigued by it and I've got some potential customers that are hooked on thumpers so I thought I'd bring one in to demonstrate the highest form or four-stroke goodness.

I'm supposed to be doing a ride/demo with a guy on Friday so I'll have a chance to ride it back-to-back with the 250RR and see how it compares.

As far as getting old ...

That would certainly be the thumper I would choose, perfect size, and a carb. I just don't like the "digital" nature of the latest crop of EFI 4strokes, at least with the maps they come with. I rode my bro's Husky 310 again recently, farts and dies way too easy, like climbing a steep mixed rock and dirt hill where traction and load changes, does not like that. KTMs with FCRs I've ridden were much more "analog". Good luck with the sale!

When it comes to 4 strokes I have always been a 450 or bigger type of guy. However as I advance in age that may be changing. About 60 miles into my last 75 mile desert race I was starting to find my strength waning and throttle control was becoming more difficult on the 450. Was wishing it was 350 about that time.

A G2 throttle does wonders on a 450. Other than DS, the 350 makes a lot more sense in the east, with no desert, lower elevation, and generally tight technical trail. Isn't the 350 KTM's top seller?

I've recently tried the KTM 350 and I was thoroughly disappointed. I have to say that this particular bike did the Romaniacs and a few other races, and has been whored around as a rental bike to a total of 150h. It also had an oversized 52/53 tooth sprocket. Supposedly, it was 'fully serviced'.

What I disliked the most was the revy nature of the engine. It felt very peaky for my taste.
Maybe that's the race pedigree of the 350cc bikes, but I much prefer the Beta 400.

I agree. Every KTM 350 I have tried gave me a yawn. It is only when I am beat towards the end of the race that it seems appealing.
