Hey everyone!

Thinking about selling the Beta and curious if the price I want is realistic. The bike is a California plated 2019 Beta 500 RR-S with about 2500 miles and 146 hours on the clock. I'm looking to get $9,000 for it, which I think is a good deal considering the parts on it. Is this a good price?

BIG TICKET ITEMS
MX-Tech Lucky Fork System, tuned by N2Dirt - $1200
Outer tubes are hard ceramic coated inside and out - $500
MX-Tech National rear shock - $2400
(I ordered this bike with the "FACTORY" level Sachs suspension, which I will also include in the sale)
Oversized tank and stock tank - $325
Tubliss front and rear - $200
FMF Powerbomb and slip on - over $600
Race Edition Airbox and rear plastics. I don't remember what this cost me to do, but it looks 10 times better than the street legal rear end.

OTHER STUFF
Cyclops headlight,
black plastics,
Boano footpegs,
custom graphics,
gripper seat cover,
KREIGA rear fender bag,
TM Designs sprocket and rotor protection,
P3 Carbon muffler guard and case covers,
ODI lock on grips,
Circuit handguards,
low profile plate and blinker setup,
new chain and sprocket setup,
and probably others I'm forgetting.

I take great care of my bikes. I change fluids very often, using AMSOIL products (even in the suspension). The bike has never been in a significant crash, just dropped and tipped over.

Let me know if you have any questions about the bike.

The market for your bike is fairly narrow. I think you should try to sell the high dollar items separately. The casual person shopping for a Beta will likely not pay extra for the extra dollars that you spent. And, 2021's are hitting floor soon, with the updated looks and layout. Figure out what your bike would likely sell for if it was bone stock with close to 150 hours on it, and maybe add $500 above that. That may be in the $9500 range. I would swap stock shock back in and offer MX-Tech at $1000 extra, or see if someone wants to swap your suspension for their stock suspension + $1000.00.

It sucks that the upgrades are $ drop. Good luck!

Hey thanks for the reply. I totally get the idea of putting in the stock suspension and selling the MX-Tech stuff separately or even as an option for the buyer. I may go that route, as I still have the stock stuff. Actually I ordered my bike with the Factory level upgrade originally, so it's better than stock in the first place. I'll tinker with that idea.

I don't get too upset about the loss in upgrades. They served me well and made the bike a beast.

On a side note, the Acerbis frame grip/guards are huge upgrade in appearance and function over the stock ones, priced well, too. Stock black ones show wear like they are have been on for millions of miles.

Oh sweet, good advice. Luckily my frame's paint is in great shape, but the stock guards do get beat up quick.

They are part of the graphic kit, so I would be pulling off the whole decal. But that's not a bad idea to make it more universally appealing. Maybe I'll get a set with no numbers. Thanks for the response!!
