Is anyone else having trouble with dirt getting into the carb? I've checked the obvious stuff, air box clamp, drain hoses, cleaned and oiled filter...
Has anyone used one of those brakets that the Beta site is selling apparently to seal the filter better?

I have a 2012 and never a spec of dirt in the carb, friend with a 12 has dirt in his pilot every couple months.
We both run fuel line filters.
He seems to pick his up more than me and I am blaming the dirt getting in from being sucked back up the puke tube.
I don't run the aftermarket clamp for over the filter but I do stretch a filter skin over my air filter assembly. Keeps my filter nice and clean, very pleased how it works.
