Hey, what are the options for rear sprockets? I think I'd like to go with a 50T. What other makes/models use the same rear sprockets? How much is a sprox from Beta?

13/50 is great. I had 13/48 from the previous owner & it was fassst in the open stuff (reckon it would do 80 mph-face peeling ) once up on top but lacked pull up hills.

Renthal red bling rear cog works for me with a stock front 13 & Regina heavy duty o-ring chain.

Picked up a 50T Aluminum rear from Beta for $65. Makes the bike a little more responsive and a tad quicker. Still goes liked a striped a** monkey when you wind it out in top gear though. IMO the Suz needle mellows the bike enough that the 50T is easier to use because less clutch work is needed. It isn't a night and day difference, just fine tuning.

CRF rear sprockets fit the beta's just for future references ...
Should give you some better options as well ... Im looking at going 51 or 52 on the rear when I finish running it in

I don't need a great top end I ride mainly tight gnarly ST so that bottom/mid range is what Im looking for in my bike setup.

I'm on my third 250rr, were at about 800-1000' and have ran stock jetting in summer, a shortened or shorty muffler gives a mid boost, the floats are to high on all there 2t's just fix it before you ride the bike, they seem to run cleaner than also.

Went from needing to pit for fuel in a fast 2 hour harescramble using the IMS tank, to finishing with the stock tank w/o pitting, you don't see it but they dribble allot when riding, and there is some jetting theory to adding air space in the carb.

I generally not a fan of gearing bikes down but the 250's gear spacing seems one tooth to small if your in the 200 lbs. range, seem like the 150 lbs. guys don't have an issue, a 50t seems perfect for us full figured fellers.

Tried the Pro Circut pipe on my 15' and it seemed to broaden the mid to upper power even more, I can pretty much run 3rd gear through most tight woods trail just using the clutch, haven't hung the PC pipe on the 16' yet but that's next.
