I ordered one a few weeks ago for my 2015 300RR. I am still trying to recover from hand surgery but needed to get in a ride in before the next snow storm hit. The spring made the pull about %30 lighter, almost as light as my trials bike. Not that the stock had a hard pull but with my hand issue it is super. So do you need it for a Non-oil injected bike, doubful but this is a very inexpensive mod to do to your bike and it works.

I just chopped the top off my 2016 Oi 300RR Spring. Works great.
