JD jetting 300rr

Over on the GG forum someone was asking about rear wheel hp for a healthy 300. Another put up a dyno sheet of his freshly built 300. Couldn't help myself, I copied James Dean's sheet on my bike, not even broken in, all stock with the exception of a Q Stealth and his tune. Thought I would include it here as well for those of you thinking of buying his kit:

Almost 8 more hp on the Beta… Should be interesting to see what response it gets over the next few days

Wow. That is impressive. Just from a needle and a shim in the PV?

It's actually a different spring with the shim, 1.25 turn in from full out, red three stripe custom needle and 162 main. From memory he's at a couple hundred feet elevation and it was upper 60's maybe 70 degree out that week.

the jet kit on his website doesn't mention anything about a pv spring or shim

JD can say anything he wants but my seat of the pants tells me my much heavier GasGas 300 is as quick if not quicker than my Beta 300.
