Cheap but very nice foot pegs

Postby ks9mm » Thu Nov 03, 2016 7:18 am

I decided to give those a try, after seller assured me that they would fit or they would "make me happy" for $50, I though what the heck..let's try them.

of course they did not fit out of the box. main hole's diameter is too small by 1/2 mm, but everything else fitted well after some work with the power drill. by the feel of the pegs, they move riding position bit up and forward and provide more stable riding platform, as they are wider than stock.

I am not sure if it's psychological effect or not, but I feel way more comfortable on the bike now than ever before. best $50 I ever spent.

as a bonus.. they sent me another set to try .. so I now have 2 sets of pegs..for the price of one.

so far, reliability has been just fine.. as bike did fell down few times already.

thanks for the heads up. did the second set fit without drilling? was the positioning (up and forward) the same?

I have not even tried second set, as it has same main hole diameter issues. and second set they sent me is different type, Orange color and clearly says KTM fit on the packaging.

$50 makes them very tempting...

Very nice indeed.
Regarding fitting, try ffitting them using a KTM pin or dremel them slow and carefull. I think its only 1mm difference...

I did not want to take this approach because frame hole diameter than would be larger by 1mm.. I didn't think i wanted free play in the pegs..

enlarging holes seemed only real option to me. I just reamed it with drill..
