check the suomy mr jump too. it's the same weight and ventilation. and i'm not sure about other countries, but it's now a fair bit cheaper after price hikes on the airoh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8LZOZjGxnI

Thanks! i will check it out when it's time to replace Airoh. I have 2 years on my previous Airoh aviator 2.1 and my head managed to hit few things along the way.. but helmet (and my head) held up superbly!

also, at $550 price of Airoh in USA i would certainly look harder to find alternative, but at $400 Airoh is pretty great deal.

Also, I am not sure about Suomi.. but Airoh has 3 shell sizes, which is important for me.

I like the Airoh but it has priced itself right out of the market in Australia.

I got the Suomi Jump and it has been great. It's almost 2 years old and it's still in good nick.
I did replaced one inner liner but to it's defense the whole inside goes in the washing machine every week.
I put the whole lot in a linen bag (bra bag) and wash on mild with mild detergent. It's always stinking hot here so it needs a wash.

I like the Suomi as I have a crap neck from the concrete pisspot helmets in the 70's and 80's so light is the ticket for me.
The Suomi jump is like the Airoh under 1kg, but half the price of the Airoh over here roughly.

I loved mine too
But you just can't get parts (broke my peak) for them here in NZ
And they are getting a bit expensive here too
If your not willing to stand behind our troops
Then try standing in front of them

I picked up a Mr Jump at a shop and couldn't believe a helmet could be so light.

It made my Bell carbon 9 feel as though it contained a severed head.

It was all I could do not to buy it..

i've been wearing TLD for the past 10 years, Bell and Answer before that, but need a new lid this winter. friend of mine bought the Suomy Mr Jump and i was shocked at the weight, it felt fake! i asked him if he was sure it was a moto helmet. hahaa. that got me thinking about the Airoh Aviator but man i wish the styling was a little less crazy on these euro helmets. the shapes are wack.

right now my choice is between the new TLD SE4 or the Airoh Aviator 2.2.

anyone know where to get a euro-spec (ECE only) SE4 ? they're a bit lighter (1100g) but not sure if they really exist.

That's funny.

+1 on the Suomy helmet. Very nice quality, very light, ventilation is good. Also, one can use a large shell and use medium or large liners.

I would recommend trying on an Airoh before buying they do have a different shape than a Arai, Shoei or 6D shell.

I have two Suomy Mr. Jumps. Awesome helmet at middle of the road price. I would like to check out the Airoh helmets too, they look really cool. I ordered a Just 1 earlier this year and returned it. Very disappointed with the fit and size of the eyeport.
