Yeah, I have bought the P-Tech already. It's on the bike now. (not fitting great, but that's 100% better than last night!) :P The pipe needs a bit more work to get it to it's original shape.

I ran the Force Acc. on my KTM and didn't like it. Too clunky and removal/install was cumbersome on the 200 EXC.
I also had the original P-Tech guard, which was a great guard. Was getting a bit bent up underneath though and I managed to seize the mounting bolts into the hardware....should have applied grease when I originally installed it.
The Duel Gravity one looks amazing, but other than the price jump, it's a whole kilo heavier than the P-Tech.

I'm happy with the new P-Tech guard...just fbeepked off at that tin foil stock pipe! :P

Wow I didn’t figure the weight difference.. but I guess there’s no free lunch..more protection means a little more weight. At least it’s down low. The guys locally with the steel cage custom guards have a little more weight too but you never have to change your pipe again. Ptech looks to have lots of protection and not be so expensive and not too heavy. It’s great to have a bunch of choices.

Just ordered the latest version of the Ptech guard which has a new feature. When I will get it, I will post a photo.
Just curious to see if it fits with my Scalvini exhaust. If it doesn't I will just use my almost new std fmf.

What's the new feature you speak of?

A plastic glide plate attached to the outer side.

Hey Howzit Dirtbird! I’ve been off Facebook again. Hackers been trying to get on my account for about the 5th or 6th time so my account was frozen again. Im tired of changing my password. Anyway I wondered about that glide plate add on. I didn’t get that with my ptech guard earlier.

Hey HDR, yes I know...
To be 100% accurate, the new plate is not yet available.
It's only a couple of days that they started making the new KTM plate and then they will do the Beta. So I will have to wait for few days.

Any links or pics of the glide plate? I didn't see any mention of it on their FB page.

I bought my P-Tech 8 months ago after HDR posted about it. (thanks HDR) and mine came with a glide plate. I didn't use mine. I attached the glide materials directly to my fastway linkage.
