I got mine about 8 months ago also, sans glider. I thought of making one out of cutting board material.

Yea I didn’t get that with mine. I still have my old obielink guard . That looks a bit thicker than the obie? Idk That’s on the pictures for the Beta 300 combo guard on the ptech website. Sometimes I think of getting a fastway guard.. This foofoo rubber plastic type guard works even though it doesn’t look as cool. Hey do they sell that separately? I didn’t look yet.

Yea the newer fastway link guards have the plastic on the bottom now.

Price seems to have gone down from the original $350 or so from a few years ago.. plus design improvements

Since the option of the plastic plate is not on their website and since that I have to wait for it, I supposed that it is a new feature.
I have only seen a picture of a KTM guard fitted with the plastic plate.

Just for clarification, is this an Obie style linkage guard, or does it attach to bottom of the AL guard with the stock mounting bolts to allow for better "glide" over obstacles?

Yea that’s pretty much how an obielink is as far as mounting.. There are other brands of similar guards. I figure the mounting is close to the same. Go on the ptech website and look at the pictures.

Please weigh it before mounting.
What do you think about their radiator guard?

Excuse my ignorance but I notice that the Ex Tax is nearly as much as the product, is that a correct assumption?
