Read and heard enough about the stock tires they only rolled from the shop to the trailer and then into my garage for a swap. I bought an expensive bike then put cheap tires on it: Shinko 505 Cheater 110/100 rear, Shinko 546 90/100 front. We ride a perfect mix of gnarly committing rock step-ups and faces straight into high speed sandy washes and back again. This tire combo was EXCELLENT yesterday. Highly recommended the pair for the price of one Golden fatty (in the US anyway) - my GasGas and my other Beta both have Golden fattys. I'll try to circle back around and report on the longevity of the Shinkos. Cheers

The Michelin Starcross 5 medium set I have on now is better for me and where I ride.
The front particularly is worlds better than either of the 2 GT216AA tyres I used.
the 333 is a terrific tyre though.
