Pipe exhaust o-rings/springs

Postby Trail Rider » Sat Jun 13, 2020 9:53 am

Minor product eval. My stock exhaust always leaked at the engine. I then tried KTM o-rings & springs, still leaked. I recently tried the Raven Exhaust O-ring & Spring Kit at RMATV. After a few rides, no leak. The o-rings did seem slightly bulkier & the springs felt a bit stronger when installing them.

I've had similar exhaust leak issues with my '18 XT and also tried different o-ring & spring kits. But my biggest improvement came from using washers / spacers at fastening points to better align the header pipe and silencer. Like you, currently running the Ravenkit and replace them each time I re-pack the silencer (at minimum).

Since I started using 2 exhaust springs on each side 4 total, my exhaust o-ring problems have gone away. Try it, it works !
