Because of this reason, bikes are 90% the same but not exactly the same, and MY2016 as show in Europe or US can be delayed about 6 months to show up here.

That's interesting, and it sheds light on some of the comments Tim Pilg (BetaUSA) made about bringing bikes in last year for the ISDE.

I wonder if there is a super restrictive tariff structure on bikes made out-of-country?

Really no idea, anyway these bikes are manufactured only for local market so never mind

Sort of conclusion for this thread.

I finally got my brand new '15 300RR after some weeks of waiting, thanks for all the comments in the forum that helped me out to make my decision moving to the two strokes world (never been there before).

Only a first ride in a closed hard rocky track, totally stock, just made some minor adjustments to front and rear clickers to have a decent performance. First impression was great, somehow what I expected, awesome handling, very light feeling, like suspension, incredible electric start, more powerfull than the 350RR but very smooth, actually I gave two turns in to the PV and looked more docile, I think I will be around this PV setting after more tunning. I love how the bike turns, is amazing, much more easier than the 350 4-stroker. Of course I still have to get used to it, and complete the setup for my riding, but things will get even better and better.

Seams I've made a great choice.

Pguerci, any new updates or opinions on your new bike. I am looking at a 350rr and a 300rr but having a tough time deciding which to get.

Thanks, JUCO

I put like 11 hs already to the bike, I've completed the suspension setup and goes really well stock, front and rear, fast and slow, I plan to revalve locally or put RaceTech gold valves in a near future just to get superior performance, I really want to get the confidence I had with the red zokes. Bike is really powerfull compared with the 350 but very smooth and predictable, I just turned in a bit the PV to calm down the bike at least until I get more used to the 2T motor, I improve my riding every time and really enjoy the bike, past Saturday I made a very nasty rocky trail and difference with 4T is notorious, bike floats over the rocks rather than hit them as 4T does, the light feeling is a plus when riding downhill, much faster.

Torque in this bike is tremendous, I'm still trying to find the stall point when climbing a hill and I get always surprised, you just go 3rd or 4rd gear up hill on a nasty trail or loosen rocks and bike tractors at very low rpms.

The only thing below my expectations was weight on steady, picking up the bike from the ground or moving it feels almost like the 4T does, I was expecting something lighter to the feeling desperate spec is only 3 kg less than the 350RR.

I'm really happy with this bike, pretty close to say that "I love 2T" ... but I'd prefer to wait a bit more before sayng such a thing :)

So, to answer the question myself: it's a Yes & No, Yes because it is really too much power (47CV) coming from a 33 CV bike like the 350RR is (+50%); and No because that's not a problem at all, you can configure the bike to be very smooth, predictable, and usable, but the power is there if you twist the throttle ... I wouldn't mind losing some CVs on this bike though.

NECJ needle, G2 throttle, 13/51 gearing (in the mountains). I even backed my PV adjuster out to 1.5 - 2 turns. Just about seamless power and I can't remember the last time it stalled. The G2 along with the needle make the off idle transition totally usable and not tiring.

I guess I don't understand the question...too much power??? Is there even such a thing? What would that be like?

I was just wondering if switching from a 350RR 4T to a 300RR 2T would be such a significant increase in power that could make me uncomfrotable or unable to ride it.

Answer to the question is along the thread.
