It might be that much more, never weighed it or cared. Its machined from a solid piece of billet. Its job is to hit rocks so the rocker and shock don't, sometimes with the full weight of bike and rider on it depending how it goes. Its got to be heavy duty to do that, anything less and I guarantee you I would break it.
