Bits from the first half of the trail until the GoPro died. Hope to get the second half next month

I’d be happy to show you around. The first half is a lot of fun...mostly uphill with good obstacles to get the blood pumping and very scenic. The second half is mostly downhill to thrash your arms, with some tight switchbacks, and the obstacles are more energy intensive to completely drain you by the end. Couldn’t open a twist bottle that night, spent the next day on the couch, and was still cramming protein for three days after. But now I can’t wait to do it again. Thinking Aug 18th or 19th next. You down? :D

I need to definitely plan a vacation up there. I'm thinking a massive moto trip from Socal, up to the PNW and back down. It could be awesome. Work though...
