North Cascades: Mt Clifty Trail

Hooked up with some bros at the last minute to go riding. First time in the Cle Elum area and stoked to head back. This trail had some exposure that put the fear of God in you, but traction was everywhere.

One does need to be careful riding there as it is a long way down.

That’s crazy. Not sure my nerves would handle doing that downhill

For reference, the gnarly sections are on the north side of the ridge. We came in from the North so all the sketch was uphill. The south side downhill is all very smooth and easy switchbacks.

Looks like you guys had a great time. I'm to old to ride like that anymore, but I sure enjoyed watching you and remembering what it was like! Great ride.
