Maiden flight of the 2015 Beta RR300

I think that unless your skills are deep enough to be very natural, in a race situation many times proper technique goes out the window. Especially when the trail gets ugly and/or your trying to make a pass or not to be passed. If you were to go back and ride the same section in a non competitive situation you might do it a lot different. That is the point of all of this though, to get to where its natural and you don't think about it.

ain't that the truth? i had my first crack at comp in my 50s with the national endurocross series. all the experienced guys said to fight the urge to ride fast and just relax and stick to technique... hard to do but got around the track okay even though everyone lapped me on the third lap of the four lap heats.

just got back from 5 days in the mountains with the beta
as everyone knows ,,,,what a bike.

i am fairly new to dirt bikes, been on snowmobiles forever.

i rode a 250xcfw from 2008-present

the beta and my past bike are completely different so i won't compare cause its just not a fair comparison

i can compare it to the 150xc i have which is a hoot to ride but not nearly in the same class as the beta

but the front forks need work on that bike for sure

i will say the beta is confidence building for myself, i literaly feel i can conquer anything when riding it, so stable, smooth, forgiving, light , planted, as many have said the motor, how could it be any better.

betajuice,, keep those vids coming, i have been watching all of them and their are great tips for a beginner rider like myself and my family..

heading back up this weekend and i will get some go pro footage of the beta in action in sw washington state..
