The power delivery on this bike is different than any 300 I've ever owned and it has the most significant difference in power delivery when using the map switch of any bike I've ever ridden. The Wet position significantly retards the hit in higher rpms. Compared to my 19 300, the 22 makes more power in the mid range but is less snappy off the bottom and fades off earlier when wide open. I love the feel of the 22 but I'll have to get used to the engine characteristics.
I've added the NECJ needle (improvement) but haven't altered the stock jetting yet. The 22 also comes with the X-trainer left side power valve cover spacer and I prefer it removed right now.
I'm racing this thing and would really like to improve the throttle response off the bottom, suggestions welcome.
