The wheels debate has been extensive here in the UK. I gave a spare pair of 2008 KTM wheels but haven't tried them yet as they are behind a load of stuff at the back of the garage.
So far, it seems that the back wheel should fit but will need a bigger disc to match the Beta. The mounting points are the same and the disc from a 690 KTM is the same size if you want to use KTM parts instead; they are currently a good bit cheaper in the UK than the Beta OEM Galfer units.
The front wheel is supposed to be a good bit different and it takes a lot of messing about with spacers to make it fit, possibly too much unless you you have access to a good engineer with a lathe. Although the disc is the same diameter and the mountings are the same, the speedo/odo magnet mounting is further out from the spindle than the KTM unit. KTM changed the spindle sizes in 2012(?) so that might complicate matters.
Probably no substitute for offering the KTM wheels up and seeing what happens...
