Well, got a few hours in today on the tire. Very rocky, some short dry dirt sections between the rocks, lots of logs of all sizes and angles too. A few short steep technical climbs. I set the pressure for 4 PSI cold, checked at 6 PSI warm on return. First, on Slaven's recommendation I got the 110. It is small for a 110 tire, much smaller than the 110 size AT81 and X30 I have, and looks narrow on the bike. In fact most narrow tire I can remember using, looks more suited to my son's 125. Riding it, it does fine on rock and rock climbs. It's very dry here now, and on loose surface hard pack it's just OK but tends to spin up easier than expected, seems a bit small for the power of the bike. Braking is OK. Cornering is very unpredictable, especially if a hard brake pivot is needed as it is often here as you can't lean in many spots. Looking at the asymmetrical side knobs Imwonder if that's why. No way would I race with this tire. Can't comment on mud. Next time I may try 3PSI cold to see if general traction improves, but I tend to think the 120 size would be a lot better for my application. In about 35 miles of rock the edges are rounding and at the rate I'm going I'm right on celler's track, much of this I think is from excessive spin. So, it's very much like a TT in that you have to be more careful with the throttle, and the turning. I'd like to try a 120 as its probably more in line with what I normally run. Right now, the MT16 still has it beat, while it lasts.
